Hit My Specific Gravity

I bought a replacement hydrometer on Friday and I hit my targeted SG on the American Pale Ale.  Here is a photo of the reading.

Sweet!

My targeted specific gravity was 1.050 and I hit it on the dot.

    I got a refractometer a while ago. It’s pretty cool.

    I hear ya. Mike has one and I think I will pick one up…eventually.

    Love that refractometer! But I still use my trusty hydrometer for the post fermentation gravity checks.

    Good job on the Pale can’t wait to sample that one.
