I tried to get Hubby to get one so we could cook lots of corn too. He refused. Too bad he doesn't brew beer! I bought one of these a few months back from my local Home Depot. In my experience, it cranks out a sufficient amount of BTUs to bring 6+ gallons of wort to a boil in under 20 minutes. Nice!
