My latest brilliant homebrewing thought was to invite Mike down for a brew session and ask him to bring down his kettle and his burner. Then we could brew two Oktoberfests at the same time.
I was planning to brew an Oktoberfest this month and let it lager all summer long in the fridge. Then I would have it ready for fall and see if that long lagering (4+ months) really makes a difference in taste.
With Mike moved into a new house, he hasn’t had time to clean up his garage to get his brewing set up ready.
What he needs to do is get his hands on some ingredients and come on down to brew up an Oktoberfest side by side with this dude.
It’s looking like more of an April brew day for me…let’s see if we can get this going.
