IPA's are always good year round, but a porter (or even a good stout) taste real good this time of year. You should also put up Pumpkin Beer as a category for fall. I was just writing up a review of Redhook Late Harvest Autumn Ale when I got your twit. I'm a seasonal beer geek... my fave beer are hefes and wheats, but those go on the shelf during the winter. It's been "fallish" here in Colorado for a few weeks now. Temps in the AM have dipped down into the low 40s. It's time to crack out the Porters, Stouts and Oktoberfests (but none of that pumpkinny stuff; I like pumpkin in my pie, not my beer). ;) Ironic. I voted Oktoberfest because they remind me the most of fall - probably because that's when they tend to show up in stores - but I love porters and russian imperial stouts this time of year, too.
